You may know Monolink for his atmospheric slow electronic sound paired with deep vocals. ‘Return of Oz’ is one of those tracks and -ARTBAT- let this track mutate into a dark and mighty bass heavy big room record. They kept the iconic vocals. They added a lot of momentum. The drop kicks ass. Artbat’s progressive approach to the dark techno genre is fine art.
When the Lights Are Out
Maceo takes us on a deep dive in melodic techno. Beautiful vocals. Sounding like a ride through the universe. Although just released a day ago, it’s certain that his new track ‘When the Lights Are Out’ will be one of 2019′ anthems. It’s rare to hear some decent vocals again in a straightforward techno record and it feels just right. Creating a wonderful dark scenery – exactly what we know him for. Kolsch likes it.
Exciting to see what edits will be made to this piece. And by whom? Solomun? Artbat? Yotto could do some magic to it, too. We will see and enjoy it, anyway.
DJ Koze’s summer vibes
In 2018 he gave us all the listening pleasure with his album ‘Knock Knock’ and the track ‘Pick Up’ although not the best one in the album was celebrated on festival and in clubs throughout the year. Wether he remixes or writes his own symphonies of house music, DJ Koze always delivers something fresh. But in a retrospective way. So it comes to no surprise that the edit of ‘It’ll all be over’ by Gerry Read reminds us of an old summer day, chilling in the fields, sipping wine. Talking with good friends. This track just feels right instantly. It is a retro track but can be played anywhere anytime and it will make your ears happy. What a beautiful track! Thank you DJ Koze, keep it up!
Move Your Body!
Reimagined classics are always special. Obviously the 80s and their vibes won’t come back. We love to be remembered of the beginnings of acid elements and synths mixed into authentic house music. BUT bringing those vibes to live again (for some minutes at least) is what the guys below did!
So in the year of two thousand and nineteen some DJs made a really good job reopening some of those steps in electronic music history by remixing ‘Move Your Body’. Starting with the father of ‘Neutron Dance’ – Krystal Klear with his eclectic reinterpretation. Shadow Child with his UK house style Remix. Loods took a more futuristic approach and nailed it. And what do we have to say about Rebūke? (see post about him).

Devine Desire
We’re starting off into the middle of week 21 with our weekly wish – that is the unofficial track or album we want to be published. And we always hope it to happen as soon as possible!
So what we to be released as soon as possible is Hot Since 82’s new album but more specifically his new track ‘Tilted’. The UK based Artist is just as good as a DJ as he is a producer and you can really feel some fresh vibes in his new track! After tracks like ‘Evolve or Die’, ‘Veins’ with it’s classy claps and the already older but golder ‘Like You’. With ‘Tilted’ all those housy, techy and especially (ibiza-) viby emotions that he keeps fusioning every time again he seems bringing in a more progressive tone to it. We love that! More progressiveness in the electronica scene please. We’re exited to see the new album in whole with ’tilted’ being a worthy teaser! Keep on doing your thing, Daley!
